Me: The curriculum says to include that there are adverbs. Ugh. I'm not gonna do that.
Co-worker: Why not?
Me: Because there is no way these kids know what an adverb is. And I don't want to teach a lesson on parts of speech...

Just saying.  Maybe it’s just a sign that I need to be drinking!  Actually, now that I think about it, I should have been drinking all day— it definitely would have relieved some of the stress.
