Want to help improve education? Start with something simple: shifting the way you talk to and about teachers.
- Don’t say: “I could never be a teacher.”
- Don’t say: “Teachers have it easy.”
- On the flip side, don’t say: “Ahh, you teachers are such saints. You have an impossible job.”
- Don’t say: “I don’t have the patience to be a teacher.”
DO say: “Oh, you’re a teacher! Tell me more!”
